The laboratory is an ideal place for active learning. Laboratory sessions are primarily designed to develop proficiency in technical skills, provide an opportunity to place theory in context, develop critical thinking skills and promote enquiry based learning. The department has 07 laboratories with a total of 215 computers with licensed software. The systems are powered with dedicated LAN and Wifi 500 Mbps leased lines. The hardware lab has IC Trainer kits, 30 microcontroller kits, IoT kits, CROs and their supporting components.

The CoE in Data Science established in 2018 has been actively organizing events such as expert lectures, Workshops, Quiz and hackathons. The CoE is thriving to fulfil its objective of providing project based learning in machine learning related domains.

CoE in Cyber Security is in the pipeline to launch. The objective is to develop innovative projects and implement ideas in the cyber security domain.
