RNSIT Campus presents you a very lively environment that is so perfect to explore new dreams, ideas. The campus encourages the young minds to be creative, innovative and goal oriented. The life in canteen, playgrounds, basketball courts and hostel are filled with joy and makes their time spent memorable for life. The activities, fests, tournaments induce leadership skills and enhance the competence to work in teams. Flashmob, plantation, marathon, auditions, rehearsals, RNS Premier League (RPL), Republic day, Independence day, Kannada Rajyothsava Celebrations, Dhandiya, Parichay, Pantheon are some of the main attractions of RNSIT where students participate and celebrate in these occasions.
Cultural
Fashion – Aura
Carrying the traits of boldness, spontaneity, and beauty, the Aura is the fashion team of RNSIT. As the name goes, the team is distinct and represents true fashion sense. The team ensures to give voice to themes through their wonderful costumes.
Music – Dhwani
Dhwani is the official band and music club of RNSIT. Mesmerizing the audience with their melody and music, the band comprises members who have mastered instruments like guitar, keyboard, tabla, and much more.
Dance – Synapse
Synapse is the dance club of RNSIT. Dancing to the tune of music, understanding the rhythm, and choreographing the moves are a few of the things that the synapse team is capable of. The members of Synapse are well versed with traditional as well new era dance forms and techniques.
About Cultural Activity Team (CAT)
The Cultural Activity team of RNSIT comprises of students having interests and talents in various fields such as articulation, craft, content writing, event managing and much more. They work in tandem to hold the biggest events in college such as Pantheon, Parichay, Step up Marathon and Kannada Rajyotsava.
- Pantheon - Pantheon is a inter college fest conducted every two years. Several colleges take part in various events conducted by the team. Pantheon has become one of the biggest fests of South Bengaluru which host up to 100 colleges and conducts events in numerous fields.
- Parichay - Parichay is an intra college fest of RNSIT which happens every two years. In this fest, the departments compete against each other in various events.
- Step Up marathon - The Cultural Activity team conducts a yearly marathon called Step Up and the earnings from the marathon are donated for a good cause. Thousands of participants run for a cause every year.
- Kannada Rajyotsava - The day of celebrating our language and land is conducted by the CAT team with utmost grandeur. The day is celebrated with jubilant flash mobs, competitions, Dhandiya, Tammate.

Shwethaswa Racing was started at RNSIT in the year 2018 by a group of like-minded students with a purpose of encouraging students to gain hands-on practical experience, while applying engineering theories studied in the classroom

Social Responsibilities
The institute has a very active NSS wing which organizes events which is very impactful to societal cause. regular Plantation of saplings, blood donation camps, vaccination drives during pandemic, visit to old age homes and distribution clothes, food packets, social awareness through walkathons, street plays, flashmobs.
RNS Management Alumni Association (MAA) has been actively participating in activities of social relevance since its inception. The major activities include food drives during pandemic, distribution of food items to orphan kids, stationery distribution for rural kids, donation of tri cycles to differently abled people and tree plantation. The association has a dream project of village adoption and is about to kickstart this year.
Sports
Cricket
The campus has a huge cricket ground that supports both tennis and hardball cricket matches. Many inhouse cricket tournaments are played across the year, among them RNSIT Premier League (RPL) is the major attraction.
Basketball
The campus has a good basketball court and a passionate team which is a powerhouse of dedicated talents. The basketball team has been consistently winning the championship in state level and VTU south zone.
Table Tennis
RNSIT has a table tennis team which has been consistently winning VTU Bangalore South Zone Women’s Table Tennis Tournament championship. Our champion Sharvani Adiga 3rd Sem CSE Represented VTU at AIU Inter University South Zone Table Tennis Tournament held at AMET, Chennai.
Badminton
There are 5 well maintained indoor badminton courts in the campus. The college badminton team has been on a winning streak in various tournaments. Women’s badminton team of RNSIT was Runners up in VTU Bangalore South Zone tournament. Aarabhi Datta 5th Sem CSE Represented VTU at AIU Inter University South Zone Badminton Tournament held at Rayalaseema University, Karnool.
Football
The institute has a huge football ground and the college team’s performance is tournament is highly appreciated. The football team of RNSIT has won the championship of VTU Bangalore South Zone football tournament.
