Fee Instalments: The Management quota students can pay the fees in TWO instalments (except Civil Engg ) for following courses. At the time of admission, the first instalment fees in full to be paid through NEFT / RTGS/ CHEQUE/ DD and second instalment fees through three (3) months with postdated cheque. All the payments to be made mandatorily by Cheque / DD/ NEFT/RTGS/Google Pay/Phonepe/ Online payment gateway mentioned in the college website etc. favouring the RNS INSTIUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, BANGALORE or ONLINE PAYMENT through DEBIT / CREDIT CARD / NEFT / RTGS / GOOGLEPAY / PHONEPE etc., After confirmation by the RNSIT Management Office.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING COURSES (BE) :
2.1 The candidates shall have passed the 2nd year Pre University or 12th standard or equivalent examination held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects - Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics.
2.2 Students should have appeared for the Entrance exams conducted by CET / COMED-K/ JEE is must for Engineering course admissions under management Quota.
2.3 The Candidate should have secured not less than 45% of aggregate marks in optional subjects and 40% of aggregate marks in optional subjects for SC/ST candidates with English as one of the languages for admissions to engineering. (PCM/PMB/PME/PMCS/PMBT).
2.4 The candidate should have appeared for one of the entrance exams i.e. CET/ COMEDK / JEE and should have valid score / valid rank . If the student has not taken any of the exams i.e. CET/ COMEDK / JEE shall write RNSAT examination to be eligible for the admissions under Management quota.
2.5 List of Documents to be submitted for BE management quota Admissions (Original + 3sets of Xerox)
- i. S.S.L.C./10th Standard Marks Card
- ii. P.U.C./12th Standard Marks Card
- iii. Transfer Certificate(TC)
- iv. Migration Certificate (In case of students studied in other states)
- v. Study Certificate (for a minimum period of 7 years).
- vi. Rank Card of any one of the Competitive Examination i.e, CET / Comed-K / JEE of Current Year
- vii. Copy of Aadhaar Card.
- viii. Three latest passport size photographs.
- ix. Bank Passbook 1st sheet which shows name and account number.
Note: Candidates are advised to keep sufficient copies of the certificates duly attested, since their originals will be returned only after the approval of admission from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

Students who were previously part of the RNS Group of Institutions are eligible for fee concessions under Management Quota.
Eligible Institutions:
- RNS Pre-University College (Bangalore / Murudeshwar)
Discount Structure:
- 5% discount for all CSE-related branches (CSE, CSE (AIML), CSE (DS) CSE (CY SECURITY ) CSBS)
- 10% discount for all Core branches (ECE, EC (VLSI ) , EEE, MECH, CIVIL)
The discount shall be applied to the tuition fees.
KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test), Diploma CET (KEA) | AICTE J&K: Admissions are through KCET process and AICTE J & K admission process
All original and TWO sets of Certificate copies to be submitted at the time of admissions for CET QUOTA :
- i. Admission Order issued by KEA
- ii. SSLC / 10th Marks Card [ for proof of Date of Birth]
- iii. II PUC / 12th Marks Card
- iv. Study Certificate from previous College/Institute (Total 07 Years)
- v. Caste Certificate in case of Reserved Category [ i.e., SC, ST & OBC ] and students admitted under S N Q Quota are required to submitted Income Certificate compulsorily.
- vi. Transfer Certificate
- vii. Migration Certificate shall be submitted by Non-Karnataka students and students who have passed their qualifying examination other than PU Board.
- viii. Students allotted under SPECIAL CATEGORY QUOTA (i.e., Rural, Kannada Medium, NCC, Sports, PH, Defence candidates etc.,) are required to submit the relevant original certificates & students admitted under Hyderabad Karnataka Quota, are required to submit the relevant original certificates. [ Annexure - “A’’ – Eligibility Certificate & Annexure - “B’’ – Residence Certificate.
- ix. Recent Photos – 05 Nos. (Passport Size)
- x. Copy of AADHAAR CARD and any other documents, if required.
COMEDK (Consortium Of Medical Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka): Admission through COMED - K.
All original and TWO sets of Certificate copies to be submitted at the time of admissions for COMED-K QUOTA:
- i. Seat Allotment Letter issued by COMED-K along with Fee receipt
- ii. SSLC / 10TH Marks Card [ for proof of Date of Birth]
- iii. II PUC / 12th Marks Card
- iv. Study Certificate from previous College/Institute & Caste Certificate in respect of students having score less that 45% in qualifying examination
- v. Transfer Certificate
- vi. Migration Certificate shall be submitted by Non-Karnataka students and students who have passed their qualifying examination other than PU Board.
- vii. Students allotted through COMED -K under Hyderabad Karnataka Quota, are required to submit the relevant original certificates. [ Annexure - “A’’ – Eligibility Certificate & Annexure - “B’’ – Residence Certificate
- viii. Recent Photos – 05 Nos. (Passport Size)
- ix. Copy of AADHAAR CARD and any other documents if required.
Interested candidates should submit the Admission Application through RNSIT College Admission Form with all the necessary documents mentioned above and payment of fees as mentioned in the above table 3 and collect the ‘PROVISIONAL ADMISSION ORDER’ for reserving the seat. The ‘PROVISIONAL ADMISSION ORDER’ will be issued as confirmation of seat reservation only after paying the PRESCRIBED AMOUNT as per the Admission Policy 2026-27.
In case of surrendering management quota seat, candidate shall officially intimate to surrender the seat reserved under management quota. The Fees paid for admission under management Quota during admission will not be refunded nor adjusted to CET / COMEDK FEES for first year as per the college norms and as per the undertaking given by parent and student.
Any student who has taken admission through MANAGEMENT QUOTA and later gets seat to other colleges through CET/COMEDK quota, the Fees paid during admission will not be refunded as per the policy.
