Classrooms
Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed to create an inspiring and dynamic learning environment. Spacious, well-lit, and fully ventilated, each classroom comfortably accommodates up to 75 students, ensuring an ideal atmosphere for focused learning. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including LCD projectors alongside traditional blackboards, our classrooms seamlessly blend modern technology with conventional teaching methods to deliver an enriched and interactive academic experience.
Laboratory
Key components of the lab infrastructure at AI&ML department of RNSIT includes:
- High-Performance Computing Facilities: The center houses the latest Intel i9-13900K processor, 32GB of high-speed RAM, and a 1TB SSD for lightning-fast storage. Equipped with a 12GB NVIDIA GPU, it delivers outstanding graphics performance, making it ideal for deep learning and accelerated analytics.
- Specialized Labs & Equipment:
- Research & AI Labs: Equipped with high-end computing systems.
- Coding Lab: Contains a variety of tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras for deep learning, scikit-learn for machine learning algorithms, OpenCV for computer vision applications, NLTK, spaCy for natural language processing, campus wide licensed MATLAB (with complete Toolkit set).
- Circuits Lab: Focuses on AI in robotics and IoT, supporting projects involving micro-controller programming and design- ARM, Intel, Raspberry Pi Kits.
- Software Labs:
- Equipped with tools for Analytics - Tableau, Power BI, R, Excel etc,
- Basic programming labs - Data Structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, DBMS, Operating Systems, Java programming, Full Stack Development (MERN, JAVA), UI/UX, Git Hub, etc.
- Cloud Native Technology Lab - Virtualization, Dockers, Containers/ Orchestration, Basic Kubernetes
- GPU Edge Computing Lab - NVIDIA Jetson Platforms
- Centers of Excellence: These centers support advanced learning with global certifications. Current CoE’s include Samsung CoE (Advanced AI, ML, IoT), MongoDB CoE (NoSQL), Automation Anywhere (Low Code/No Code), Center for Developing Drone Technologies (CDDT).
- Research Focus: The lab infrastructure at the department supports specialized research in AI-Enabled solutions for problem statements from St. John’s Research Institute, Rakuten, TIEI, Zepco Technologies, Neuberg Anand Diagnostics, NOKIA, ABB etc.
The labs are used for both academic projects and research initiatives, supporting the department’s focus on Deep Learning, Data Mining, and Natural Language Processing.
