- The College Identity Card serves as the Library Membership Card and must be produced to access all library services.
- The Identity Card/Library Card is non-transferable.
- Library resources will be issued only to the cardholder upon presentation of a valid College Identity Card.
- Members are responsible for all resources borrowed on their account.
Borrowing limits are as follows:

- Books may be renewed only if there is no reservation by another user. Renewal requests over the phone will not be entertained.
- Library resources recalled by the Librarian must be returned immediately.
- Borrowed books should not be brought back into the library for reading or reference without prior permission.
- Library users may reserve books that are currently issued through the Library OPAC.
- Reserved books will be kept at the Circulation Counter for one day from the date of availability. If not collected within the stipulated time, the reservation will be offered to the next user.
- Borrowed books must be returned on or before the due date indicated in the book otherwise a fine may be imposed.
- If the due date falls on a college holiday, books may be returned on the next working day.
- Loss of any library material must be reported immediately to the Librarian in writing.
- The borrower may replace the lost book with a new copy of the same title and edition, along with the original purchase invoice and a processing fee of ₹100.
- If the book cannot be replaced, the borrower shall pay twice the cost of the book along with a processing fee of ₹100.
- If the loss is reported after the due date, applicable overdue charges will also be collected.
- If the lost book is part of a multi-volume set, the borrower shall bear the replacement cost of the entire set.
- Members are prohibited from writing in, marking, damaging, or mutilating any library material. Such acts will attract appropriate penalties.
- All borrowed library materials must be returned before the commencement of examinations or completion of the Semester.
- Members must clear all pending dues and obtain a Library No-Due Certificate from the Librarian, wherever applicable.
- Members must produce their Identity Card at the library entrance/checkpoint whenever required.
- Bags, handbags, and other personal belongings must be kept at the designated Property Counter.
- Only loose sheets are permitted inside the Reference Section. Personal notebooks are not allowed.
- Students should maintain silence and ensure that the library environment is conducive to study.
- A queue should be maintained at the Circulation Counter.
- Food, beverages, and refreshments are strictly prohibited inside the library.
- Mobile phones must be kept on silent mode within the library premises.
- Laptops and tablets may be used only for academic purposes.
- After use, books should be left on the reading table and not re-shelved by users.
- Members are requested to switch off unnecessary lights and fans to conserve energy.
