The department of Mathematics is headed by Dr. C M Suresha, who has 20 years of teaching experience. The department staff are well qualified to suit the requirements. All the faculty members have registered for Ph.D. & are currently engaged in research activities. Regular seminars & workshops are arranged for the benefit of staff & students. Mathematics being the backbone of engineering, the department provides excellent support to all the engineering departments.

  1. Organized a 3-day DST Sponsored National Conference on Applied and Engineering Mathematics during July 28-30, 2011 at RNS Institute of Technology, Dept. of Mathematics, Bengaluru.
  2. Conducted a national seminar on recent trends and challenges in Applied Mathematics December 22, 2012, on celebration of national year of Mathematics in commemoration of 125th Birthday of Srinivasa Ramanujan.
